Paris Air Show, June 16, 2025 – Indra and AXISCADES formalized their collaboration during the ongoing Aerospace Show in Le Bourget. The MoU was signed by Indra CEO José Vicente de los Mozos and AXISCADES Chairman Dr. Sampath Ravinarayanan, in the presence of Indra Chairman Angel Escribano and AXISCADES CEO & MD Alfonso Martínez.

The agreement includes plans to manufacture Indra technologies in India, such as Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) for aircraft and advanced countermeasure systems designed to protect aircraft from missile threats, including MANPADS.

This partnership not only reinforces Indra’s global footprint in aerospace systems but also enhances the technological capabilities of Indian defense manufacturing. Indra has maintained a long-standing presence in India, contributing to both defense projects and civil aviation modernization initiatives.

Further collaboration opportunities are under discussion, including MPA Airborne Solutions and potential partnerships for DRDO CABS’ MRMR and MMMA programs.
