Aurionpro  announces a major order from the Municipal Corporation of Panvel in Maharashtra, India. As the Technology Partner for the Panvel Safe City initiative, Aurionpro will play a key role in modernizing the city’s safety and security infrastructure. This ambitious project includes the deployment of advanced surveillance and smart city technologies, such as Data Centers, a high-tech Control Command Center, and Video Analytics for real-time monitoring and rapid response.

The project will also integrate state-of-the-art AI-driven technologies, including Facial Recognition systems, an IP-based Public Announcement system, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), and an e-Challan mechanism. These features will create a robust framework for crime prevention, with a special focus on enhancing security for women.

The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC), which manages 29 revenue villages and key CIDCO colonies, now oversees a jurisdiction of 110 square kilometers after taking over civic infrastructure from CIDCO. The “Safe Panvel Project” aims to upgrade the city’s security infrastructure significantly.

The contract, valued at over INR 200 crores, spans five years. The first phase of the project will be completed within the next 12 months, followed by a long-term maintenance and support phase.
