India : CDSL has allocated Rs. 10 Crores (equivalent to Ten crore rupees) for share application in ONDC through the subscription of 10,00,000 equity shares priced at Rs. 100 each.
Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) communicated through its letter numbered CDSL/CS/NSE/AJ/2024/36 dated February 12, 2024, regarding the approval granted by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for additional investment in ONDC.
The indicative timeframe stipulated for the completion of the allotment of shares spans a duration of 60 days from the date of remittance. It is anticipated that following the further investment, the approximate percentage of shareholding held by CDSL in ONDC will amount to 2.67%. It is important to note, however, that this stake may potentially undergo dilution in the event of additional investments being secured from existing or potential investors in ONDC.
