DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited proudly announces its recent achievement of DGCA certification as a Medium Category Drone Pilot Training Organization. This milestone underscores DroneAcharya’s pioneering role in the industry, being among the first to attain such recognition.
This certification authorizes the legal operation of drones weighing between 25 kg to 150 kg, crucially impacting sectors such as agricultural spraying and delivery drones. It aligns seamlessly with the visionary Namo Drone Didi initiative led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, which aims to empower women with drone piloting skills, particularly in agricultural drone operations, fostering sustainable livelihoods in a rapidly evolving sector.
DroneAcharya currently operates three DGCA certified drone pilot training centers specializing in micro and small categories, situated in Pune, Gandhinagar, and Ropar. Additionally, the company has broadened its reach through the acquisition of Aerophile Academy Private Limited, an emerging drone pilot training center in Bengaluru.
Prateek Srivastava, Founder and Managing Director of DroneAcharya, expresses gratitude for achieving this milestone, highlighting the vast opportunities it presents for DroneAcharya to lead in the drone education sector, empowering individuals and driving innovation.
Remarkably, DroneAcharya is the sole drone training institute in India conducting drone pilot training sessions in Thailand and the Philippines as well, demonstrating its commitment to fostering expertise and innovation globally.
This certification signifies a significant leap forward for DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations, solidifying its position as a leader in drone education and training while contributing to the advancement of the drone industry on both national and international fronts.
