Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has reported strong financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2024. The company posted a Total Income of Rs. 1,343 Crore in Q3FY25, a 34% increase from Rs. 1,005 Crore in Q3FY24. Similarly, Revenue from Operations grew by 38%, reaching Rs. 1,271 Crore in Q3FY25, compared to Rs. 923 Crore in the same quarter last year. The Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) for Q3FY25 stood at Rs. 147 Crore, up 13% from Rs. 130 Crore in Q3FY24.
The company also recorded a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs. 134 Crore, reflecting a 13% increase compared to Rs. 119 Crore in Q3FY24, while Profit After Tax (PAT) was Rs. 98 Crore, up 11% from Rs. 88 Crore in Q3FY24. Earnings Per Share (EPS) for Q3FY25 stood at Rs. 8.57, compared to Rs. 7.70 in the previous year.
For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2024, GRSE reported a Total Income of Rs. 3,655 Crore, reflecting a 30% growth over Rs. 2,801 Crore in 9MFY24. Revenue from Operations for 9MFY25 reached Rs. 3,434 Crore, a 33% increase from Rs. 2,577 Crore in 9MFY24. The company’s EBITDA for the period was Rs. 421 Crore, up 15% from Rs. 367 Crore in 9MFY24, and PBT for 9MFY25 stood at Rs. 380 Crore, reflecting a growth of 16%. PAT for the nine months was Rs. 283 Crore, a 15% increase over Rs. 246 Crore in 9MFY24, while EPS for 9MFY25 increased by 15%, reaching Rs. 24.72 compared to Rs. 21.45 in the same period last year.
