Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE), one of India’s leading warship manufacturers, has announced its financial results for the second quarter and half-year ending September 30, 2024.

Key Highlights of Q2 FY25 Financial Performance:

Total Income: ₹1,228 crore in Q2 FY25, up 27% from ₹969 crore in Q2 FY24.

Revenue from Operations: ₹1,153 crore in Q2 FY25, reflecting a 28% growth from ₹898 crore in Q2 FY24.

EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation, and Amortization): ₹144 crore in Q2 FY25, an increase of 20% from ₹120 crore in Q2 FY24.

Profit Before Tax (PBT): ₹131 crore in Q2 FY25, a 22% rise compared to ₹107 crore in Q2 FY24.

Profit After Tax (PAT): ₹98 crore in Q2 FY25, up 21% from ₹81 crore in Q2 FY24.

H1 FY25 Financial Performance Compared to H1 FY24:

Total Income: ₹2,311 crore in H1 FY25, compared to ₹1,796 crore in H1 FY24.

Revenue from Operations: ₹2,163 crore in H1 FY25, up from ₹1,654 crore in H1 FY24.

EBITDA: ₹274 crore in H1 FY25, a growth from ₹237 crore in H1 FY24. The company’s EBITDA margin stands at 16%.

PBT: ₹246 crore in H1 FY25, an increase from ₹209 crore in H1 FY24, with a PBT margin of 18%.

PAT: ₹185 crore in H1 FY25, up from ₹157 crore in H1 FY24, with a PAT margin of 18%.

Commenting on the results, Cmde Hari PR, IN (Retd), Chairman and Managing Director of GRSE, said, “Our Q2 and H1 FY25 results have been very encouraging. Our strong order backlog for the Indian Navy, combined with new orders for commercial and specialized research vessels, positions us for clear growth. With a robust order book and additional contracts in the pipeline, the future looks promising, and we are confident in continuing to deliver strong performance in the coming quarters.”
