Garden Reach Shipbuilders has received letters of intent for a contract worth ₹491 crore for the design, development, construction, equipment integration, testing, certification, commissioning, and supply of one Acoustic Research Ship (ARS) from the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory, Ministry of Defence DRDO, located in Kochi.
The order must be executed within 36 months from the date of signing the contract.
