Gensol Engineering Limited has partnered with Matrix Gas & Renewables Ltd., a rapidly expanding green hydrogen infrastructure developer and natural gas aggregator. Together, they have secured the project to establish India’s inaugural Green Hydrogen Valley in Pune. Gensol and Matrix will develop a Green Hydrogen production facility on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model, with a commitment to supply Green Hydrogen to the Specialty Chemical sector under a firm 20-year offtake agreement.

Anmol Jaggi, Managing Director of Gensol Engineering Ltd., celebrated the launch of India’s first Green Hydrogen Valley, providing 24/7 Green Hydrogen to Pune’s specialty chemical sector. Chirag Kotecha, Whole-time Director at Matrix Gas and Renewables Ltd., emphasized their role in advancing India’s net-zero goals and the Green Hydrogen Mission, with the project supported by the National Chemicals Laboratories in Pune.

Gensol and Matrix will continue to collaborate in Green Hydrogen and related fields like Green Steel and Green Ammonia.
