JSW Neo Energy Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has received a Letter of Award for a 600 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) under Phase IV. This project includes 400 MW from a green shoe option.

With this award, JSW Energy’s total locked-in generation capacity rises to 18.2 GW, including 3.8 GW of Hybrid capacity. The company anticipates increasing its installed generation capacity to 10 GW by FY25, up from the current 7.5 GW. This expansion supports JSW Energy’s shift towards becoming a comprehensive energy products and services provider.

Currently, JSW Energy’s locked-in generation capacity includes 7.5 GW operational, 2.3 GW under construction, and a renewable energy pipeline of 8.3 GW (with PPAs for 2.3 GW). The company also holds 4.2 GWh of energy storage capacity. JSW Energy aims to reach 20 GW in generation capacity and 40 GWh in energy storage by 2030, with a target of achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2050.
