Gensol Engineering Limited, a prominent player in the renewable energy industry, has further strengthened its role as a key contributor to India’s energy transition by securing a major EPC contract.
The company has been awarded the contract by a well-known public sector entity for the development of a 245 MW Solar PV Project at the renowned Khavda RE Power Park in Gujarat. Valued at approximately INR 967.98 Crores (including GST), the contract also covers three years of comprehensive O&M services.
This achievement marks Gensol’s second major project win at Khavda Solar Park in a short period, highlighting the company’s robust market presence and project execution expertise. Earlier this month, Gensol secured an EPC contract worth INR 1062.97 Crores for a 275 MW Solar PV Project, part of the larger 795 MW Solar PV Development Package, at the same site.
With these two significant projects, Gensol will oversee the development of a total of 520 MW of Solar PV capacity at Khavda Solar Park, a site on track to become the world’s largest hybrid renewable energy park.
