HPL Electric & Power Ltd. (HPL), a prominent electrical equipment manufacturer, has announced its financial results for Q1 FY2025, ending June 30, 2024. The company reported notable growth in both revenue and profitability, fueled by strong sales performance in its Metering, Systems & Services segments, as well as advancements in smart metering technology.

HPL Electric & Power Ltd. reported significant financial growth for Q1 FY25 compared to Q1 FY24. Revenue from operations increased by 22.50%, rising from ₹320.74 crores to ₹392.91 crores.

EBITDA saw a substantial rise of 40.19%, growing from ₹40.04 crores to ₹56.13 crores, with the EBITDA margin improving by 180 basis points to 14.29%.

The company’s profit after tax (PAT) surged by 145.45%, from ₹6.94 crores to ₹17.03 crores, leading to a PAT margin increase of 217 basis points to 4.33%. Additionally, earnings per share (EPS) more than doubled, climbing 145.37% from ₹1.08 to ₹2.65.

In terms of segment growth, HPL Electric & Power Ltd. reported notable improvements. The Metering Systems & Services segment saw a significant year-over-year increase of 35.67%, rising from ₹175.92 crores to ₹238.67 crores. Meanwhile, the Consumer, Industrial & Services segment experienced steady growth, with a 6.50% year-over-year rise, increasing from ₹144.83 crores to ₹154.23 crores.

As of July 30, 2024, HPL Electric & Power Ltd. boasts a robust order book exceeding ₹3,700 crores. This growing pipeline reflects strong future growth potential and underscores the company’s capacity for sustained revenue generation.
