Infosys (NSE, BSE, NYSE: INFY) has strengthened its collaboration with Meta to promote generative AI innovation via open-source initiatives. A champion of open-source software, Infosys is committed to democratizing AI by leveraging Meta’s Llama stack, a suite of open-source large language models.
To accelerate the adoption of this technology, Infosys has launched a Meta Center of Excellence (COE), aimed at enhancing enterprise AI integration and fostering contributions to open-source communities. This center will develop industry-specific use cases and help customers adopt the Llama stack seamlessly.
As an early partner for the Llama 3.1 and 3.2 models, Infosys integrates these with its AI-first services, Infosys Topaz, to create innovative solutions. One such innovation is a Llama-powered document assistant that improves contract review efficiency.
Additionally, Infosys has opened an AI Experience Zone for Meta at its Bengaluru campus, offering customers a hands-on look at advancements in enterprise AI. Balakrishna D. R. (Bali) from Infosys emphasized the importance of open-source innovation for driving growth, while Sandhya Devanathan from Meta highlighted its role in transforming business operations globally.
