Noida , India : Inox Wind Limited (IWL), a leading provider of wind energy solutions in India, announced that it has entered into a binding framework agreement with CESC Limited, one of India’s largest power utilities, for the installation/supply of 1,500 MW of wind capacity over the next 3-4 years.

• The agreement encompasses 1,000 MW to be executed on a turnkey basis, and 500 MW of equipment supplies, along with limited-scope EPC.
• Following commissioning, Inox Green Energy Services will provide multi-year O&M services as outlined in the agreement.
• This marks the largest single wind project order signed by an OEM in India to date.

– The agreement involves IWL’s latest DF/3000/145 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), each with a minimum capacity of 3.3 MW. The agreement’s scope includes a combination of end-to-end turnkey execution for 1,000 MW and equipment supply with limited-scope EPC for 500 MW. Additionally, IWL’s subsidiary, Inox Green Energy Services Limited (IGESL), will provide post-commissioning multi-year operations & maintenance (O&M) services. This marks the largest order for a wind project in India signed by any Wind OEM.
