JBM Ecolife Mobility Private Limited, a subsidiary of JBM Auto Limited, has emerged as the L1 bidder and clinched a significant contract under the PM E-bus Sewa Scheme, awarded by Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL).
The contract entails the procurement, supply, operation, and maintenance of 1,390 electric buses, approximately 65% of the total, as well as the development of associated electric and civil infrastructure.
Operating under the Gross Cost Contracting (GCC) framework, this domestic contract spans a time period of 12-18 months, with an approximate order value of Rs. 7,500 Crore.
This partnership marks a substantial step towards sustainable mobility in India, aligning with the government’s initiatives for eco-friendly transportation solutions.
