KPI Green Energy Limited has secured a 305MWac order, with 175MWac awarded by Aditya Birla Renewables Subsidiary Limited and 130MWac by ABREL (RJ) Projects Limited for developing the Balance of System for a solar capacity project in Gujarat. The project will connect to the Inter State Transmission System (ISTS) network of the Central Transmission Utility (CTU). KPI Green Energy Limited will provide Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) services, encompassing design, engineering, procurement, supply, transportation, construction, erection, testing, and synchronization for the solar project.
The orders have been awarded by domestic entities. Specifically, the nature of the contract is a Commercial Term Sheet. It is domestic in nature, and the project is slated to be executed within the financial year 2025-26. The aggregate order size is substantial, amounting to 305MWac solar capacity, which constitutes a significant portion of the wind-solar hybrid power project.
