Netweb Technologies India Limited (Netweb), a leading Indian manufacturer of high-end computing solutions, has partnered with Bengaluru-based AI research and product company Bud Ecosystem to co-develop affordable and localized AI infrastructure solutions for the Indian market.
This strategic collaboration integrates Netweb’s capabilities in scalable, high-performance, and energy-efficient computing with Bud Ecosystem’s AI foundry software stack. Together, they aim to create ready-to-deploy AI systems suited for diverse sectors, including education, healthcare, retail, agriculture, and small enterprises.
Under the initiative, both companies will introduce AI-in-a-Box systems — modular, pre-configured solutions that combine optimized hardware and software to deliver AI capabilities even in regions with limited connectivity or technical resources. These systems will allow users to start with CPU-based configurations and later scale up to GPU or accelerator-driven setups as their needs grow.
The collaboration addresses India’s AI accessibility challenges by lowering infrastructure costs, enabling offline functionality, and ensuring data sovereignty. It will also include plug-and-play edge AI systems powered by custom-developed large and small language models (LLMs and SLMs), multilingual AI models such as HEX1, domain-specific AI agents, and efficient inference engines.
