Oriana Power Limited announced that it has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from SJVN Limited for setting up a 50 megawatt (AC) grid-interactive solar photovoltaic (PV) power project to be developed in the state of Gujarat under GUVNL Phase XXII.
The total contract value of the order stands at ₹217.45 crore, excluding GST, and comprises four separate contracts. The project falls under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) category and also includes comprehensive Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for three years.
As per the terms of the contract, Oriana Power will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of the commissioned plant, including land acquisition and development, design and engineering, procurement of equipment and materials, testing, packing, transportation, civil and electrical works, installation, and commissioning. The project must be completed within 560 days.
The company highlighted that this project reinforces its commitment to India’s renewable energy mission while expanding its footprint in the large-scale solar EPC domain. The order has been awarded by SJVN Limited, a domestic entity, and does not involve any related-party transactions.
