NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) and Indus Towers Limited (ITL) have officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, aimed at advancing green energy objectives and supporting the Government of India’s efforts towards achieving a carbon-neutral economy.

The signing ceremony took place on April 18, 2024, at SCOPE Complex, New Delhi, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations. The MoU, signed by Sh. Soumya Kanti Chowdhuri, Chief General Manager of NGEL, and Sh. Vikas Poddar, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ITL, sets the stage for joint exploration of grid-connected Renewable Energy-based Power Projects, encompassing Solar, Wind, Energy storage, and related solutions.

Indus Towers Limited plans to systematically enhance its renewable energy portfolio to a Giga Watt scale capacity, supporting its nationwide business operations in line with its Net Zero commitments.
