Computer Age Management Services Limited (CAMS) has completed the acquisition of the KYC Registration Agency (KRA) business from NSE Data & Analytics Limited. The company informed stock exchanges on January 5, 2026, that the transaction has been concluded in line with the previously announced Business Transfer Agreement.
Following the completion, the KRA operations will be carried out by CAMS Investor Services Private Limited, also known as CAMSKRA, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of CAMS. The acquisition was earlier disclosed in July 2025, when the company indicated that the transfer would strengthen its investor data repository and contribute to improved revenue potential over time.
CAMSKRA has been operating in the KRA segment for over a decade and is currently the second-largest licensed KYC Registration Agency in the Indian capital markets. The subsidiary provides technology-driven KYC solutions, including AI-enabled customer onboarding capabilities such as facial matching, optical character recognition, liveliness detection, and digital verification services.
CAMS stated that the acquisition has been completed in accordance with the agreed terms, and no additional disclosures are required at this stage. The update has also been made available on the company’s official website, in compliance with regulatory requirements under SEBI listing regulations.
