Bharat Forge Ltd. has secured a long-term contract from Pratt & Whitney Canada for the supply of mission-critical aerospace engine components, strengthening its position in the global aerospace supply chain.
The company announced the development on October 5, 2026. Under the agreement, Bharat Forge will manufacture aerospace engine components at its advanced aerospace facility in India.
The facility has been developed to manufacture high-performance and high-value aero-engine products. It uses advanced manufacturing technologies and operates in line with stringent aerospace requirements related to quality, precision, reliability and traceability.
Bharat Forge Aerospace Contract With Pratt & Whitney Canada
The long-term agreement will involve the supply of critical aerospace engine components to Pratt & Whitney Canada, an aerospace engine manufacturer. The contract expands Bharat Forge’s engagement with the global aerospace industry and supports its role as an aerospace manufacturing partner.
Amit Kalyani, Vice-Chairman and Joint Managing Director of Bharat Forge, said the partnership reflects the company’s capabilities in advanced manufacturing, engineering and quality standards. He added that the company would support Pratt & Whitney Canada’s programs through its aerospace manufacturing capabilities.
Nathalie Rivet, Vice President, Supply Chain at Pratt & Whitney Canada, said the collaboration is intended to build a resilient global supply chain and strengthen sourcing from India. She also highlighted Bharat Forge’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities, technical expertise and quality standards.
Bharat Forge Expands Aerospace Manufacturing
The agreement further strengthens Bharat Forge’s aerospace business, which focuses on the design, development and manufacture of critical aerospace, defence and marine systems, structures and components.
