Capacit’e Infraprojects Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) worth approximately ₹741 crore, excluding GST, from Mahindra Lifespaces Developers Limited for construction work on two major residential projects in Mumbai.
The LOI covers the Core and Shell work of Mahindra Rainforest at Kanjurmarg and Mahindra Beacon Hill at Mahalaxmi. The order strengthens Capacit’e Infraprojects’ presence in Mumbai’s real estate construction segment and adds another major developer to its client portfolio.
According to the company’s disclosure, the ₹741 crore LOI was received in the normal course of business and forms part of Capacit’e Infraprojects’ ordinary civil contracting operations.
Commenting on the development, Rahul Katyal, Managing Director of Capacit’e Infraprojects, said the company was pleased to welcome Mahindra Lifespaces as a new client. He highlighted the association as an indication of the confidence placed in Capacit’e’s execution capabilities and its track record of delivering complex projects.
The company said the engagement is expected to strengthen its project portfolio and enhance its visibility among premium real estate developers. It also noted that the order reflects its engineering expertise, project management capabilities and execution track record.
The company further confirmed that its promoters, promoter group and group companies do not have any interest in the entity awarding the contract. Accordingly, the order does not fall under the related-party transaction framework.
Capacit’e Infraprojects is engaged in civil construction and infrastructure development, with its operations covering large-scale building projects. The latest LOI from Mahindra Lifespaces adds a significant order opportunity to its ongoing business activities.
With the ₹741 crore contract, Capacit’e Infraprojects is set to undertake core and shell construction for two prominent Mahindra Lifespaces developments in Mumbai, further expanding its association with leading real estate developers.
