Phronetic AI, an artificial intelligence company backed by Infibeam Avenues Ltd, has announced the launch of PayCentral.ai, India’s first Agentic Payment Platform that allows AI agents to perform secure and autonomous financial transactions on behalf of merchants and enterprises.
Developed as an intelligent payment infrastructure, PayCentral.ai integrates seamlessly with existing payment gateways and platforms to deliver faster, automated, and intelligent payment experiences. The platform marks a major step toward the evolution of Agent-to-Agent (A2A) payments in the country.
Built on Google’s Agent Payment Protocol (AP2), PayCentral.ai is designed to operate across multiple Merchant Control Panels (MCPs) of RBI-approved payment aggregators, beginning with CCAvenue, an Infibeam Avenues subsidiary. This unified infrastructure enables interoperability, automation, and real-time auditing of transactions conducted by AI agents.
