KFin Technologies Limited (KFintech) has announced enhanced details of ARYA, its next-generation Conversational Intelligence and Investor Servicing Platform designed to enable investors to access mutual fund information, analyse portfolios and execute transactions through natural language interactions.

According to the company, ARYA combines self-hosted Small Language Models (SLMs) with a deterministic compliance engine to support end-to-end investor transaction journeys. The platform is intended to serve investors, distributors and asset management company (AMC) servicing teams, while also being available for deployment within AMC environments and KFintech’s investor and distributor portals.

KFintech’s ARYA Integrates Conversational AI With Transaction Execution

ARYA is designed around an “Ask → Understand → Analyse → Act” conversational journey, bringing scheme discovery, portfolio analytics and transaction execution into a unified interface.

The platform is currently undergoing live testing for additional lump-sum purchases and Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) registrations. KFintech said transaction requests are processed through deterministic compliance software rather than relying solely on probabilistic outputs from language models.

The compliance engine includes mandatory identity verification through One-Time Password (OTP) checks, PAN masking and automated eligibility gates before transactions are executed on the system of record.

The company also has plans to extend the platform to transaction types including redemption, fund switching, Systematic Transfer Plans (STPs) and Systematic Withdrawal Plans (SWPs).

Direct RTA System Execution

ARYA is designed to execute transactions directly on the underlying system of record in KFintech-serviced AMCs. This architecture is intended to provide real-time auditability and maintain data integrity throughout the transaction process.

The platform also seeks to address operational challenges associated with high-volume investor servicing. KFintech said ARYA can reduce the burden on call centres, branches and operations teams by handling repetitive queries related to schemes, statements and SIP/SWP transactions through a unified conversational layer.

The platform is also designed to consolidate fragmented investor journeys involving multiple portals, screens and report downloads.

Focus on Compliance, Data Residency and Computed Analytics

A key feature of ARYA is the separation of language-model capabilities from transaction and compliance decision-making. While natural language models handle conversational interactions, unit-tested software code manages intent routing, compliance gates, PAN masking and transaction execution.

KFintech said calculations such as XIRR, asset allocation and portfolio rebalancing analysis are performed deterministically against RTA records. ARYA then presents the computed results rather than generating numerical outputs directly through language models.

The platform uses self-hosted SLMs and processes models and corpus data within KFintech-controlled infrastructure. The company said this architecture has been designed around Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) data-residency expectations, with investor data processed within India and without a third-party AI cloud in the serving path.

ARYA is also intended to support investor education around emerging products, including SEBI’s Specialised Investment Funds (SIFs).

Proof-of-Concept Testing Shows Performance Benchmarks

KFintech said proof-of-concept testing completed in July 2026 with leading asset managers produced several performance benchmarks.

The company reported approximately 90% fact accuracy following corpus engineering and verified fact ingestion. Retrieval latency was reported at sub-second performance, with a p95 latency of around 0.7 seconds, representing an approximately 80x improvement over initial baseline builds.

The evaluation also recorded a 100% refusal rate for out-of-scope questions in the tested dataset. In addition, repeated questions produced byte-identical responses under the evaluated configuration, which KFintech said supports reproducibility for compliance audits.

ARYA Launch Scheduled for Global Fintech Fest

KFintech plans to launch ARYA at the Global Fintech Fest on September 10, 2026, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The platform is scheduled to be introduced initially as an invite-only standalone offering, with an early-access waitlist.

The company said ARYA will subsequently roll out to distributors through KFintech’s IRIS portal and to investors through the KFin Investor Portal in October 2026, alongside deployments in AMC client environments.

The staged deployment is linked to KFintech’s self-hosted infrastructure strategy. Since ARYA’s models operate within KFintech-controlled infrastructure, the company plans to scale access in line with available GPU and self-hosted inference capacity.

The roadmap also includes non-commercial transactions, WhatsApp integration, voice interaction, multilingual support and LOB adapters for NPS and wealth servicing.

AI-Based Mutual Fund Servicing Moves Toward Execution

With ARYA, KFintech is positioning conversational AI beyond information retrieval and customer query handling toward regulated financial transaction workflows. The platform’s architecture combines natural-language interaction with deterministic calculations, compliance controls and direct transaction execution.

The approach could enable mutual fund investors to conduct portfolio analysis and initiate eligible transactions through conversational interfaces while maintaining system-level controls and auditability.
