Ola Electric has commenced mass deliveries of its vehicles powered by the newly developed 4680 Bharat Cell. The S1 Pro Plus (5.2kWh) is the company’s first model to feature this indigenously manufactured battery pack, designed to deliver higher range, improved performance, and stronger safety features.
With the introduction of this battery technology, Ola Electric becomes the first Indian company to own both the cell and battery pack manufacturing processes end to end. The company stated that demand for the S1 Pro Plus has been strong, with customer deliveries progressing across multiple cities. The national rollout is also planned to expand availability further.
Performance and Features of the S1 Pro Plus (5.2kWh)
The S1 Pro Plus variant is powered by a 13 kW motor capable of accelerating from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.1 seconds. It offers an IDC range of 320 km in DIY mode. The scooter includes four ride modes—Hyper, Sports, Normal, and Eco—and features category-first dual ABS with front and rear disc brakes.
The model also includes comfort upgrades such as a redesigned two-tone seat, body-coloured mirrors, a die-cast aluminium grab handle, rim decals, and an expanded colour palette featuring Passion Red, Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Jet Black, Stellar Blue, and Midnight Blue.
