Previous Orders and Ongoing Projects

The latest contracts follow a ₹689.93 crore order secured by Jyoti Structures from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) for the 765 kV double-circuit Pachchham–Saykha Transmission Line project in Gujarat.

The company is also executing a 220 kV double-circuit transmission line project in Sri Lanka in partnership with Hayleys Fentons Limited. The project is intended to support the evacuation of wind power into Sri Lanka’s national electricity grid.

These projects form part of Jyoti Structures’ activities in high-voltage transmission infrastructure across domestic and international markets.

Role of 800 kV HVDC Transmission Technology

High-voltage direct current technology is used to transmit large volumes of electricity over long distances. HVDC transmission systems can support the movement of power between regions and help strengthen electricity transmission networks.

Projects involving 800 kV HVDC transmission lines require specialised engineering, infrastructure planning, equipment supply and coordinated execution. The technology is particularly relevant to large-scale transmission projects designed to transport electricity over substantial distances.
