RailTel Corporation of India Limited has secured a major domestic order from Modern Coach Factory, Raebareli, as disclosed in its regulatory filing dated January 30, 2026. The company has received a Letter of Acceptance for the supply, installation, and commissioning of IP-based video surveillance systems in LHB coaches in accordance with RDSO specifications.
The estimated value of the contract stands at ₹94.23 crore. The scope of work includes deployment of the surveillance systems along with a three-year warranty period, followed by five years of comprehensive annual maintenance services. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any related party transactions.
The work order was received on January 29, 2026, and the project is scheduled for long-term execution, with completion targeted by January 28, 2034. RailTel has also clarified that neither the promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority.
The latest order strengthens RailTel’s presence in railway digital infrastructure and safety solutions, while also adding long-term revenue visibility to the company’s order book through extended maintenance and support commitments.
