RMC Switchgears Limited has received Letters of Intent aggregating ₹200.87 crore, inclusive of all applicable taxes, for executing power distribution infrastructure projects in Rajasthan. The development was disclosed under regulatory filing requirements.
The Letters of Intent have been awarded by Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited under the Revamped Reforms-Based and Results-Linked Distribution Sector Scheme. The projects will be executed on a turnkey basis and focus on the segregation of 11 kV mixed feeders to enhance electricity distribution efficiency and reliability.
One of the projects, valued at ₹116.49 crore, involves the development of distribution infrastructure for feeder segregation in the Dholpur Circle. The second project, amounting to ₹84.38 crore, relates to similar infrastructure works in the Jhalawar Circle. Both projects fall within Jaipur Discom’s operational areas in Rajasthan.
As per the disclosure, work on the awarded projects is expected to commence within 15 days from the date of issuance of the Letters of Intent and will be completed in line with the execution schedule approved by the project authorities.
The company stated that the receipt of these Letters of Intent strengthens its order book and is expected to support revenue growth over the execution period. It was also clarified that the orders are domestic in nature, do not involve any promoter or group company interest, and do not qualify as related party transactions.
