Vikram Solar Limited, one of India’s leading solar PV module manufacturers, announced that it has won a significant order for 148.9 MW of high-efficiency Topcon solar modules from Sunsure Energy Private Limited. The modules, rated at 595 Wp, will be installed across Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, two key states driving India’s renewable energy transition.
Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply its advanced M10R N-Type TOPCon modules known for superior energy yield, performance reliability, and high efficiency. The modules are expected to be delivered within 60 days from the Notice to Proceed, with completion anticipated by January 2026.
This latest order adds to Vikram Solar’s growing list of major project wins in 2025, including 200 MW from AB Energia, 336 MW from L&T Construction, and 326 MW from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited.
Commenting on the development, Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar, said India’s achievement of surpassing 125 GW of renewable capacity underscores its rapid progress in the clean energy sector. He emphasized that partnerships like the one with Sunsure Energy are crucial for maintaining momentum toward the nation’s sustainability goals.
Manish Mehta, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Sunsure Energy, highlighted that the collaboration reflects Sunsure’s mission to deliver large-scale, reliable green energy solutions using top-tier technology and operational excellence. He stated that working with Vikram Solar aligns with Sunsure’s objective to provide round-the-clock clean power to India’s industrial consumers and support the nation’s target of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030.
