Waaree Energies Limited has secured a significant order for the supply of 1500 MW of solar modules from a reputed domestic customer engaged in power generation, transmission, and distribution. The order was received on December 30, 2025, and has been disclosed under applicable stock exchange regulations.
The contract comprises 1000 MW of Domestic Content Requirement compliant solar modules and 500 MW of non DCR modules. The entire supply is scheduled to be executed during the financial year 2026–27. The order is classified as a one time contract and does not involve any related party transactions.
This development strengthens Waaree Energies’ presence in India’s solar manufacturing sector, particularly in the DCR segment that supports government backed renewable energy projects. The order aligns with the company’s strategy to scale domestic manufacturing capacity and cater to the growing demand for utility scale solar installations across the country.
