PVR INOX Limited has expanded its cinema footprint in Hyderabad with the opening of five new screens at Inorbit Mall, Cyberabad, converting the property into an 11-screen Superplex. The upgraded location now becomes the largest multiplex property in the city by number of auditoriums.
The newly added screens introduce three premium viewing formats—Luxe, PXL, and 4DX—alongside mainstream auditoriums. The expansion is aimed at offering a wider range of viewing experiences for families, young audiences, and working professionals in one location.
A key highlight of the launch is the introduction of PXL, marking its first presence in Telangana. The format features a 55-foot-wide screen, RGB laser projection, Dolby Atmos sound, and recliner seating. The Superplex also includes three Luxe screens offering enhanced seating and curated food options, as well as a 4DX screen equipped with motion seating and environmental effects such as wind, fog, water, scent, and snow. This becomes the third 4DX screen in Hyderabad.
With the addition of the five screens to the existing six, the Superplex now houses a total of 1,368 seats. This includes 210 PXL seats, 107 Luxe seats, 104 4DX seats, and 947 seats across mainstream auditoriums. The property also features a redesigned foyer with youth-focused interiors, digital artwork, and relaxed seating zones, while the Luxe lounge includes curated furniture, an open kitchen, and recreational elements.
The expansion strengthens PVR INOX’s presence in South India and adds a major entertainment destination in Cyberabad. With this launch, PVR INOX continues to scale its premium cinema offerings across high-growth urban centres.
