TV Today Network Limited has approved a proposal to divest its FM radio broadcasting business, involving three 104.8 FM stations operating in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. The decision comes as part of the company’s strategy to streamline operations and concentrate on core business areas.

The sale will be executed through Vibgyor Broadcasting Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of TV Today Network. The transfer will occur as a going concern and will require multiple regulatory approvals, including permissions from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The radio division recorded revenue of ₹14.16 crore in FY 2024–25, contributing 1.41% to the company’s total turnover. Despite this, the segment reported a net worth loss of ₹10.54 crore for the same financial year. The proposed sale price has been fixed at ₹10 crore plus applicable taxes, split into two instalments—₹5 crore at the time of signing the MoU and the remaining amount within three months thereafter.

The buyer, Abhijit Realtors and Infraventures Private Limited, is active in real estate, entertainment and radio-related operations. The company does not belong to the promoter group of TV Today Network. The transaction is scheduled for completion on or before 31 May 2026, with an option for extension if mutually agreed.
