DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited announced that it has secured an order worth ₹2.59 crore from the Indian Army, Ministry of Defence, for the supply of 500 Sub Tactical Very Short Range Drones. The work order reinforces the company’s growing focus on the defense and security sector.

According to the company’s exchange filing dated October 21, 2025, the order demonstrates DroneAcharya’s strong technological expertise and production capabilities in FPV drone systems. The project is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s growth trajectory and brand positioning in the defense manufacturing space.

The delivery schedule for the drones will take place in three phases – 166 units by April 16, 2026, another 167 units by July 15, 2026, and the final batch of 167 units by October 18, 2026. The order was officially awarded on October 18, 2025.

The contract was signed at arm’s length and does not involve any related party or promoter interests. DroneAcharya stated that this development marks another significant milestone in its efforts to expand its defense technology portfolio and contribute to India’s self-reliance in unmanned aerial systems.
