New York, USA : Tata Communications has unveiled a state-of-the-art production and delivery facility in Los Angeles called The Switch @ Victory, signaling a strategic investment to advance their services and expand business opportunities in global live production. Situated on Victory Boulevard within Hollywood’s media production hub, this sprawling two-story building spans 66,712 square feet on a two-acre plot. The Switch @ Victory offers versatile configurations to meet diverse customer needs and serves as a central hub for Tata Communications’ and The Switch’s collaborative production and delivery services.

Catering to a broad clientele ranging from major sports leagues to corporate events livestreaming, the facility is already operational and has attracted leading media companies like Fox Alternative Entertainment, which is utilizing a 4,100-square-foot soundstage equipped with cutting-edge cameras for its renowned series, America’s Most Wanted. Dhaval Ponda, Vice President and Global Head of Media & Entertainment at Tata Communications, underscores the facility’s pivotal role in reinforcing their leadership position and addressing the growing demand for live content. This investment underscores Tata Communications’ dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction, positioning them as frontrunners in the industry.

With The Switch @ Victory, Tata Communications is poised to expand its presence in the US and beyond, fueled by a growing customer base. The facility boasts state-of-the-art production equipment and amenities, including:

  • Four sound stages featuring powered lighting grids and green screens
  • Spacious multi-row seating production control rooms equipped with top-of-the-line switchers and digital audio consoles
  • Multiple insert studios catering to media training, live shots, and satellite media tours
  • Dressing rooms and lounges designed for talent comfort
  • Several conference rooms for collaborative meetings
  • Video-audio edit stations for post-production work
  • Over 100 workstations to accommodate various production needs
  • Private offices, kitchens, and breakrooms for staff convenience
  • An auditorium with ample seating capacity

  • A parking lot with 230 spaces capable of supporting a powered ‘base camp’ for production trailers, grip trucks, and other equipment

The facility is integrated into Tata Communications’ global low-latency video delivery network, further enhancing its capabilities. Additionally, it features satellite links to facilitate the seamless delivery of raw feeds, audio, and communication to the control rooms located within the facility.
