London : Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has extended its collaboration with The Co-operative Group Limited (Co-op), a prominent global consumer cooperative engaged in various sectors including food, funerals, insurance, and legal services. This expansion involves embracing a cloud-first strategy aimed at facilitating the group’s business expansion endeavors.

  • For the past 14 years, TCS has served as a strategic partner to Co-op, aiding in numerous business-critical and workplace transformations. These encompass their retail business overhaul, core system revamp, and franchise program implementation.
  • These endeavors have enabled Co-op to expedite time-to-market, establish new revenue channels, and bolster agility to swiftly address emerging business scenarios.
  • Under the extended partnership, TCS will assist Co-op in transitioning from a conventional data center model to a fully managed, adaptable cloud environment facilitated by TCS Enterprise Cloud. This shift towards a scalable cloud infrastructure will provide Co-op with a robust foundation for future capabilities and expansion, concurrently reducing energy consumption and aligning with sustainability objectives.
