Cyient DLM, a leading integrated electronics manufacturing company, has acquired Altek Electronics, a notable U.S.-based EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) firm. This strategic move enhances Cyient DLM’s presence in North America and strengthens its capabilities in the Medical, Healthcare, and Industrial sectors.

With a solid footprint in these areas, Altek adds several Fortune 500 clients to Cyient DLM’s portfolio and positions the company well in the growing U.S. Defense market due to its ITAR certification. The acquisition also expands manufacturing capacity by 80,000 square feet to better serve global clients.

Krishna Bodanapu, Executive Chairman of Cyient DLM, stated that this acquisition broadens their global reach and strengthens ties with strategic customers. CEO Anthony Montalbano emphasized that integrating Altek’s expertise enhances manufacturing capabilities and competitive positioning in North America.

David Altschuler, CEO of Altek, noted that the partnership will allow for operational scaling and greater resource utilization.
