Genesys International Corporation Limited has been awarded a ₹21.45 crore contract by the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) to implement Digital Twin technology. This initiative, part of the New India Map Stack, aims to enhance governance and urban infrastructure through high-precision mapping. By creating a 3D representation of the city, the project will modernize property tax systems, optimize urban planning, and improve municipal efficiency. The 11-zone GIS mapping project, priced at ₹1.95 crore per zone, is expected to streamline tax collection, identify unregistered properties, and boost revenue for urban development.

Precision mapping is a key driver for smarter cities and efficient governance. Genesys’ Digital Twin models will provide HDMC with a comprehensive city overview, enabling real-time monitoring and data-driven decision-making. High-resolution geospatial data will enhance municipal operations, including traffic control, disaster management, and infrastructure planning. “With this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to pioneering 3D digital twin mapping,” said Sajid Malik, Chairman and Managing Director of Genesys International Corporation Limited. “By digitizing property records and optimizing tax revenues, we’re creating the future of urban management.” The company’s advanced sensor constellation ensures high accuracy in capturing properties, roads, and urban assets.

As India moves toward data-driven urban governance, the New India Map Stack is playing a crucial role in the country’s digital transformation. Hubballi-Dharwad joins a growing list of cities where Genesys’ mapping technology has been implemented, reflecting the increasing demand for high-precision mapping solutions. This initiative aligns with India’s National Geospatial Policy 2022, reinforcing the country’s commitment to leveraging advanced geospatial technologies for improved urban management and municipal efficiency.
