Paradip, Bhubaneshwar : The Honorable Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik, inaugurated the groundbreaking ceremony for JSW Steel’s new greenfield integrated steel manufacturing complex in Paradip, Odisha. Accompanying him were JSW Group Chairman, Shri Sajjan Jindal, Shri Parth Jindal, Shri Pratap Keshari Deb, Minister of the Industries Department, Shri V.K Pandian, Chairman of 5T, Shri Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary of the Industries Department, Shri Anil Kumar Singh, and other esteemed dignitaries.

  • JSW Steel and various entities within the JSW Group have outlined plans to invest approximately Rs. 65,000 crore in several phases. This endeavor is expected to generate employment opportunities for approximately 30,000 individuals, both directly and indirectly. The Integrated Manufacturing Complex will comprise an integrated steel manufacturing unit, jetties, a power plant, and a cement unit.
  • JSW Steel’s greenfield integrated green steel complex will be established at Dhinkia Nuagaon and Gadakujanga in Erasama Tehsil, Jagatsinghpur district. The Industrial Development Corporation of Odisha (IDCO) has allocated 2,958 acres of land to JSW for the construction of the integrated manufacturing facility, with 30 percent of the total project land earmarked for the preservation of forests and water bodies.
  • JSW Steel and JSW Group entities have proposed an investment of approximately Rs. 65,000 crore, pending necessary approvals, to develop this integrated complex in phases. The ground-breaking ceremony attracted over 30,000 attendees, including residents from nearby villages, public representatives, technocrats, and industry experts.
