Kalyani Powertrain, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge Ltd., has partnered with AMD to enter the Indian server market, marking a key milestone in strengthening the country’s server infrastructure.

This collaboration will integrate AMD’s EPYC processors into locally manufactured servers, providing high performance, energy efficiency, and security features, while reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for data centers. In the future, the servers will also incorporate AMD Instinct™ accelerators to enhance AI and high-performance computing capabilities.

The partnership supports India’s Make in India initiative by promoting local manufacturing and reducing reliance on imports. It will provide enterprises, cloud providers, hyperscalers, and government organizations with high-performance, cost-effective server solutions tailored for AI workloads, cloud computing, and large-scale data processing.
