DEE Development Engineers Limited, a provider of process piping solutions, has announced the partial commissioning of its ₹250 crore advanced manufacturing facility in Anjar, Gujarat. The second phase of the facility increases its annual capacity by 9,000 MT, bringing the total operational capacity to 12,000 MT.

This plant, which primarily serves the oil and gas piping sector, is part of the company’s broader strategy to triple its revenue within the next three to five years. The facility integrates cutting-edge automation and semi-automation technologies, optimizing production efficiency and precision while adhering to lean manufacturing principles to reduce material handling and boost overall productivity.

With market projections indicating a 7% annual growth rate for the oil and gas sector, DEE Development expects to reach full production capacity of 27,000 metric tons by October 2025, with seamless pipe production starting in January 2026. A significant portion of the ₹260 crore investment is directed towards the process piping solutions plant and a seamless pipe manufacturing unit for high wall thickness pipes, with a projected annual capacity of 7,000 metric tons.

The company has already invested ₹150 crore, partly financed by ₹40 crore in bank loans, with the remaining ₹110 crore to be funded through debt. The facility not only positions DEE Development to meet the rising demand for high-quality piping solutions but also promises significant job creation, with around 100 direct jobs and 500 additional labor positions.
