NCC Limited has received two Advance Work Orders from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on March 25, 2025, for the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the middle-mile network for BharatNet. These projects are assigned under Package No. 05 for the Uttarakhand Telecom Circle and Package No. 01 for the Madhya Pradesh, DNH & DD Telecom Circles.

The contracts have been awarded by a domestic entity, BSNL, under general contract conditions. The nature of work includes comprehensive network development and maintenance in the respective telecom circles. The execution timeline for both projects consists of three years for construction and ten years for maintenance.

The total contract value for the Uttarakhand Telecom Circle project is ₹2,647.12 crores (excluding GST), with ₹1,543.35 crores allocated for capital expenditure (Capex) and ₹1,103.77 crores for operational expenditure (Opex). Meanwhile, the Madhya Pradesh, DNH & DD Telecom Circles project is valued at ₹8,157.44 crores (excluding GST), comprising ₹4,189.05 crores in Capex and ₹3,968.39 crores in Opex.

These projects further strengthen NCC Limited’s presence in the telecom infrastructure sector, contributing to the expansion of BharatNet and enhancing digital connectivity in these regions.
