Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL) has announced a manufacturing partnership with ASRock Inc., a leading Taiwanese motherboard manufacturer. Under this agreement, OEL will produce ASRock’s enterprise and gaming desktop motherboards locally. Manufacturing operations have already commenced in April 2025, and the Made-in-India motherboards will be available in the domestic market starting May 2025.
This partnership marks a significant shift from dependency on imported hardware to indigenous production, supporting India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make-in-India initiatives. It is expected not only to meet the growing demand within India but also to open new opportunities in export markets.
Ashok Gupta, Executive Chairman of the Optiemus Group, stated that the collaboration with ASRock showcases Optiemus’s capabilities in handling complex large-format printed circuit board assemblies and precision placement of components. These capabilities are crucial for advanced technologies such as AI-powered desktops and high-performance computing solutions. He emphasized that with fully automated manufacturing processes and advanced nitrogen reflow systems, Optiemus is setting a new standard for quality and efficiency in India’s IT hardware sector.
For ASRock, this strategic move enhances its presence in one of the fastest-growing electronics markets globally. The company’s focus on eco-conscious manufacturing and reliability aligns closely with Optiemus’s commitment to excellence in production standards.
Optiemus’s two manufacturing facilities in Noida, Uttar Pradesh are equipped with state-of-the-art automated assembly lines, making it a preferred partner for global original equipment manufacturers aiming to scale their operations in India.
Beyond strengthening the supply chain, the partnership is expected to drive significant employment generation and skill development in advanced manufacturing fields.
