Fabtech Technologies Limited has secured a turnkey design-and-build project worth approximately ₹21 crore in a Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) country. The project marks the company’s entry into the CIS market and expands its international execution footprint in regulated manufacturing infrastructure.
The project involves the development of critical internal infrastructure for an advanced medical-device manufacturing facility. Fabtech Technologies will undertake an integrated scope covering engineering and design, cleanroom systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building management systems, electrical systems, process and clean utilities, laboratory and cleanroom furniture, fire and life-safety systems, installation, testing and commissioning.
Under the project, the process manufacturing equipment will be sourced directly by the customer, while Fabtech Technologies will engineer the infrastructure required for its seamless integration with the facility.
Climate-Responsive Engineering for CIS Facility
A key aspect of the project is the requirement for climate-responsive engineering. The facility is being designed to operate under the climatic conditions of the CIS country, requiring specific consideration of material selection, HVAC architecture, utilities and insulation.
The engineering approach is intended to maintain controlled manufacturing conditions despite seasonal temperature variations. The project combines environmental control, utility reliability and equipment-interface engineering as part of an integrated design-and-build programme.
Project Scope Covers Engineering and Commissioning
Fabtech Technologies’ responsibilities are expected to span multiple stages of project execution. These include engineering and design, procurement and manufacturing, factory acceptance testing (FAT) and inspection, logistics, installation, testing and commissioning, along with qualification and validation activities where applicable.
The end user operates in the global medical-technology sector, where manufacturing facilities require controlled environments, infrastructure reliability and repeatable operating conditions. The project is designed to adapt Fabtech’s engineering and execution capabilities to the local climatic and operating requirements of the CIS market.
Project Targeted for Completion in Approximately 12 Months
The project is targeted for handover within approximately 12 months from completion and availability of the civil front. The timeline covers the execution activities associated with the engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning and applicable qualification and validation requirements.
The order also provides Fabtech Technologies with an opportunity to extend its Design-Engineer-Build model into a new international geography with different climatic, regulatory and infrastructure conditions.

The company said the CIS project strengthens its international business and demonstrates the applicability of its integrated engineering and design-build capabilities for complex regulated manufacturing facilities.
