PVR INOX Limited has announced the launch of a new three-screen multiplex at DLF Summit Plaza on Golf Course Road in Gurugram. The new cinema expands the company’s presence in one of the city’s major commercial and residential corridors.
The new PVR INOX multiplex is located within the DLF Summit Plaza development, which brings together retail, dining, entertainment, offices and residential destinations. The location also offers access to Golf Course Road, the Rapid Metro and other key business and lifestyle districts in Gurugram.
PVR INOX Cinema Features 352 Sapphire Seats
The multiplex comprises three auditoriums with a total of 352 Sapphire seats. According to the company, the seats feature leatherette upholstery, with 650 mm centre-to-centre spacing and a 1,500 mm back-to-back seat pitch designed to provide additional personal space.
The cinema is equipped with 4K digital laser projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound and Next-Gen 3D technology. These systems are intended to provide high-resolution visuals, immersive audio and 3D viewing across the three auditoriums.
Cinema Designed Around Premium Interiors
The three auditoriums follow a monochromatic design approach, with individual visual identities while maintaining a common design theme. Curved wall panelling, integrated acoustic detailing and vertically illuminated feature panels have been incorporated into the interiors.
A prominent feature of the property is its double-height foyer, which has been designed as a social space rather than only a conventional cinema lobby. The area includes suspended lighting, café-style seating and dedicated social zones for visitors.
The interiors also incorporate hanging greenery and other biophilic elements. Warm ambient lighting, metallic accents, textured finishes and a chrome-plated vintage projector installation have been used as part of the overall design.
PVR INOX Expands Gurugram Entertainment Presence
Ajay Kumar Bijli, Managing Director of PVR INOX Limited, said the new multiplex at DLF Summit Plaza reflects the company’s focus on developing cinema destinations in locations that form part of people’s daily lifestyle and leisure activities.
He said the property brings together comfort, design, technology and hospitality to create an entertainment destination for Gurugram.
Sanjeev Kumar, Executive Director of PVR INOX Limited, said changing audience preferences are increasing demand for spaces that offer experiences beyond a conventional cinema visit. He added that the DLF Summit Plaza multiplex combines architecture, seating, auditorium technology and social spaces as part of its overall design.
The launch adds another PVR INOX cinema location in Gurugram and forms part of the company’s broader expansion of destination-led cinema properties across India.
