Goodluck India Secures USD 13.6 Million Export Order to Nepal for 400 kV Transmission Line Project

Goodluck India Limited has announced that it has secured an export order worth approximately USD 13.6 million to Nepal for a 400 kV Double Circuit transmission line project. According to the company’s exchange filing, the contract marks the largest order received by the company in this business segment.

The order has been awarded by an EPC player in Nepal, although the company did not disclose the customer’s identity because of confidentiality requirements.

Under the scope of work, Goodluck India will manufacture and supply nearly 14,500 metric tonnes of transmission line structures and related fasteners. The project also includes prototype assembly, fabrication, galvanizing, bundling, and shipment of galvanized lattice steel towers required for the transmission infrastructure project.

The company stated that the contract will be executed on a deliverable basis and is expected to be completed within a period of 18 months according to the project schedule.

Goodluck India said the latest order strengthens its international business presence and reflects demand for its engineering and manufacturing capabilities in the power transmission and infrastructure sector.

Commenting on the development, Chairman Mahesh Chandra Garg stated that the company sees the order as an important step in expanding its global footprint while supporting infrastructure growth initiatives across markets.

The order comes at a time when investments in power transmission infrastructure continue to increase, creating opportunities for companies involved in engineering and transmission-related manufacturing activities.
