Marine Electricals (India) Limited has received orders and a Letter of Intent (LOI) aggregating to Rs 80.77 crore, strengthening its order book in the power distribution systems segment.
According to the company’s disclosure, Marine Electricals has received an LOI worth Rs 43.52 crore, excluding taxes, from DXDC Chennai Private Limited. The scope of the contract includes the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a Power Distribution System.
The delivery and execution period for the DXDC Chennai project is expected to be 4 to 5 months.
In a separate development, Marine Electricals has received an order worth Rs 37.25 crore, excluding taxes, from Micron Semiconductor Technology India Private Limited. The order pertains to the supply of a Power Distribution System, with delivery scheduled over a period of 4 to 5 months.
Together, the two contracts amount to Rs 80.77 crore, excluding applicable taxes. The new orders are expected to contribute to Marine Electricals’ business in power distribution infrastructure and electrical systems.
