Suzlon Group, renowned as India’s leading provider of renewable energy solutions, has revealed a significant achievement today by securing an order to supply Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) for a sizable 642 MW wind power project from ‘ABC Cleantech Private Limited (ACPL),’ a company under Evren. Evren, a joint venture between Brookfield and Axis Energy in India, has entrusted Suzlon with this project. Suzlon is tasked with installing 214 wind turbine generators equipped with Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) towers, each boasting a rated capacity of 3 MW, in Andhra Pradesh.

- A project of this magnitude has the potential to supply electricity to approximately 5.28 lakh households and reduce CO2 emissions by roughly 20.87 lakh tonnes annually.
- The order pertains to the company’s larger-rated 3 MW S144-140m turbines from the 3 MW product series. Under the terms of the agreement, Suzlon will provide the wind turbines (equipment supply) and manage installation and commissioning for the project. Additionally, Suzlon will be responsible for comprehensive operations and maintenance services after commissioning
