India : Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a major player in India’s integrated power sector and a subsidiary of the Company, has entered into a power delivery contract with Tata Communications Limited (Tata Communications), a prominent player in communications technology (commtech), for an 18.75 MW AC group captive solar power facility.

  • The endeavor, carried out via a special purpose vehicle (SPV) named Nivade Windfarm Limited, has garnered an estimated order value of ₹ 105 crore. Situated in Aachegaon, Maharashtra, the facility is expected to produce around 40 million units (MUs) of power annually and mitigate over 30,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.
  • By integrating renewable energy sources into its energy consumption blend, Tata Communications reaffirms its dedication to environmental stewardship and the adoption of eco-friendly energy alternatives.
