Waterloo, Iowa/Chennai, September 30, 2025 – TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited (TVS SCS), a leading global supply chain management company, announced the inauguration of its new 225,000-square-foot automated facility in Waterloo, Iowa, as part of its North American growth strategy. The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, TVS SCS North America, is aiming to scale up to a $500 million revenue business, building on a consistent 20% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the past four years.
The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced robotics and automation technology to enhance efficiency and service delivery. With 95% of its capacity already committed, the site will provide value-added services such as assembly, kitting, sequencing, and just-in-time delivery to local manufacturers and key clients in the U.S. Midwest.
TVS SCS Managing Director Ravi Viswanathan highlighted the facility’s significance, stating that the new center “embodies the future of supply chain management” by reducing lead times and improving service quality.
The inauguration was attended by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and Waterloo Mayor Quentin Hart, who recognized the investment as a key milestone in strengthening Iowa’s role in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Richard Vieites, CEO of North America & Europe at TVS SCS, emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its U.S. footprint. “Our focus is on growth in strategic locations, strengthening technological capabilities, and building strong partnerships to drive innovation,” he said.
This marks TVS SCS’ second facility in Iowa, alongside its existing Iowa City location. The company is also set to open another 225,000-square-foot site in the region next quarter.
