Bharti Airtel, a prominent telecommunications service provider in India, has announced the prepayment of Rs. 8,325 crores to the Department of Telecom (Government of India). This payment is a partial settlement of deferred liabilities associated with the spectrum acquired in the auction of the year 2015, incurring an interest cost of 10%.
