DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited, India’s first drone startup listed on the BSE SME, has concluded the financial year 2023-2024 with an impressive 90% year-on-year revenue growth. DroneAcharya currently stands as India’s leading and pioneering DGCA-certified drone pilot training provider in the private sector. Additionally, the company has secured multiple international drone service projects and established valuable industrial connections with drone manufacturers, invested in drone-centric companies, and acquired value-adding firms both in India and globally.
The company recorded a 90% revenue growth, reaching INR 35.20 crores in the financial year 2023-24, up from INR 18.57 crores in the financial year 2022-23. Their profits after tax (PAT) were INR 6.20 crores in the financial year 2023-24, compared to INR 3.42 crores in the previous year, marking a significant 81% increase in PAT, based on standalone financial statements.
Commenting on their performance, Mr. Prateek Srivastava, Founder and Managing Director of DroneAcharya, said, “We have made significant progress in establishing ourselves as a prominent brand in drone pilot training and services in India. Our team has worked tirelessly towards a common goal. With this progress, we are now venturing into Make in India drone manufacturing, starting with the launch of type-certified agricultural spraying drones in FY 2024-25. Internationally, we aim to export drones to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, promoting India as a global drone hub.”
He added, “Our Drone Research and Development team is focused on rolling out Make in India drones for the Indian Armed Forces, including loitering munitions, kamikaze drones, and anti-drone solutions. We are building a brand that reflects India’s values and positions our country as a rapidly emerging drone hub.”
Looking ahead, FY 2024-25 is promising as DroneAcharya secures defense projects and plans to become a recognized player in drone manufacturing.
